This is an In-Person Micro-Dose Metabolic Consultation at our office in Niwot. A research-informed consultation for adults interested in exploring micro-dosing alongside their broader metabolic health and wellness goals. During your visit at The Healing Collective in Niwot, Dr. Joe Cohen will review your health history, medications, metabolic concerns, body-composition data, and goals. He will discuss relevant risks, contraindications, current research, and practical considerations before creating a personalized three-month protocol. **EMERGING METABOLIC RESEARCH** Recent preclinical research has investigated how low, non-psychedelic doses of psilocybin may affect body-weight regulation, insulin sensitivity, liver fat accumulation, and muscle function through metabolic and serotonin-signaling pathways. These findings come primarily from animal and laboratory studies. Human clinical research has not established micro-dosing as a treatment for obesity, diabetes, insulin resistance, fatty liver disease, sarcopenia, or weight loss. Dr. Cohen will help you understand the research in the context of your health history and existing medical care. **COMPLIMENTARY INBODY 770 ASSESSMENT** Your consultation includes the option to receive a complimentary, non-invasive InBody 770 assessment. It provides estimates of skeletal muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat, body-water balance, segmental composition, and phase angle—offering additional information beyond body weight alone. **WHAT’S INCLUDED** - One-on-one, in-person consultation with Dr. Cohen - Review of your health history, medications, and metabolic goals - Complimentary InBody 770 body composition assessment - Individualized education based on current research and clinical context - Personalized three-month micro-dose protocol only **CONSULTATION REQUIREMENTS** - Patients must be 21 or older. - This consultation does not replace medical testing, metabolic treatment, or care from your primary medical provider or specialist. Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule, please reschedule or contact us 24 hours in advance. While we understand situations arise, we value your time, the doctor's time, and those waiting to see the doctor. As such, No-Show Appointments are not eligible for a refund and/or will be assessed a $50 fee. Rescheduled appointments that are rescheduled on the day of an appointment will be assessed a $50 fee. If you are late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate your needs with the remaining time left in your appointment, but can not guarantee that we can see you for your full appointment time.
