Qualifying Conditions
According to the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, qualifying debilitating medical conditions include:

Cachexia
-
Cancer
-
Glaucoma
-
HIV/AIDS
-
Persistent muscle spasms
-
Seizures
-
Severe nausea
-
Severe or chronic pain
Colorado also allows three qualifying disabling conditions which include:

Opioid Replacement Therapy
-
Autism Spectrum Disorder
-
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Other Requirements
Along with having a qualifying condition, a patient must be a resident of the state with a driver’s license or identification verifying proof of address, be at least 21-years-old, provide the $30.50 application fee to the CO MMJ Registry, and have a Physician’s Certification confirming qualifying conditions. Additionally, a patient must have a new physical examination every 12 months to hold a valid cannabis license.
