As a Family Nurse Practitioner she has worked in Primary Care, including pregnancy care, women's health, pediatrics, acute and chronic care. In addition to allopathic medicine, Tracy also practices shamanic healing, reiki, Eden Energy Medicine, and teaches shamanic journeying.
Tracy believes that the body has infinite wellness and healing potential and her role is to partner with and support the body's ability to heal itself. Throughout her education and experience, Tracy's long-term vision has been to integrate allopathic medicine with alternative healing modalities in a Functional Medicine model. Tracy truly loves her role as a Holistic Nurse Practitioner and brings an abundance of passion, joy, and enthusiasm to the individuals with whom she works.

Holistic nursing is defined as "all nursing practice that has healing the whole person as its goal" (American Holistic Nurses' Association, 1998). Holistic nursing is a specialty practice that draws on nursing knowledge, theories, expertise and intuition to guide nurses in becoming therapeutic partners with people in their care. This practice recognizes the totality of the human being - the interconnectedness of body, mind, emotion, spirit, social/cultural, relationship, context, and environment. The holistic nurse practitioner is an instrument of healing and a facilitator in the healing process. Holistic nurse practitioners honor each individual's subjective experience about health, health beliefs, and values.
Holistic nurse practitioners may integrate complementary/alternative modalities (CAM) into clinical practice to treat people's physiological, psychological, and spiritual needs. Doing so does not negate the validity of conventional medical therapies, but serves to complement, broaden, and enrich the scope of nursing practice and to help individuals access their greatest healing potential.
"Unlike ordinary doctors, Tracy took the time to talk through my hereditary problem with gout, asking many questions before ordering blood work that initially seemed unusual. She then patiently showed me the clues she could glean from the results of the carefully targeted tests. She identified a drug-free and highly effective diet-based solution to my gout.
Tracy's experience and thoughtful skill inspire a well-deserved confidence that the medical problem will be resolved and that long-term good health is an achievable goal." - J.T.
Tracy accepts most United Healthcare Commercial, United Tricare, and Rocky Mountain Health Insurance plans. If you have one of these plans, please contact the office so that we can verify your eligibility THREE days prior to your scheduled appointment.
